Job Role: Junior DevOps Tools Administrator
Designation: DevOps Engineer

Job Type: Full-Time / Contract

General Responsibilities:

  • Monitor tool uptime and health
  • Manage user access and permissions (RBAC)
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and log checks
  • Validate backups and restore points
  • Escalate issues to L2/L3 if needed
  • Work on Linux systems and understand database basics
  • Check SSL, AD, and SMTP configurations

CloudBees (Jenkins):

  • Create folders, jobs, and views.
  • Monitor job and agent status.
  • Manage roles and user access.
  • Validate AD and SMTP setup.
  • Check plugin status and logs.
  • Confirm GitHub and SonarQube integrations.
  • Ensure SSL is configured.

SonarQube:

  • Create and manage projects
  • Assign quality gates
  • Manage tokens and access control
  • Check background tasks and logs
  • Validate GitHub and CI integration
  • Confirm AD and SMTP settings
  • Ensure SSL access

JFrog Artifactory:

  • Create and manage projects
  • Assign quality gates
  • Manage tokens and access control
  • Check background tasks and logs
  • Validate GitHub and CI integration
  • Confirm AD and SMTP settings
  • Ensure SSL access

Jira:

  • Create projects using templates
  • Manage users and group roles
  • Modify issue types and workflows (basic)
  • Validate GitHub and CI links
  • Check AD user sync
  • Test SMTP for notifications
  • Ensure SSL is applied

GitHub Enterprise:

  • Create and manage repos
  • Apply access controls and branch rules
  • Validate webhook and CI integrations
  • Manage SSH keys and tokens
  • Confirm LDAP/SSO access
  • Test notifications via SMTP
  • Ensure HTTPS is enforced
